We use 100% silk for our dresses. There's nothing else like it - silk feels as good as it looks. It's light and airy as it skims your curves. It is a strong fabric, but fragile when wet - either dry clean or carefully wash your silk pieces at home with silk detergent. Lay flat to dry. Silk doesn't get too wrinkled (it's perfect for packing!), but if it does you can use a steamer to get any wrinkles out.
All seams are fully finished (we do French seams, they are stronger and look nicer) and bodices are fully lined. All the details have been thought of.
Silk is beautiful, but it's a difficult fabric to work with - hard to cut out and even harder to sew. We use experienced tailors and inspect each item multiple times to ensure quality.
The people who make our clothing are paid fair wages and have good working conditions. We have a close relationship with our factory, working directly with them.
